The Department of BBA is one of the pioneer department that was started in 2013 under the University of Calicut. The 3-year professional undergraduate course in Business Management is open to students from all the three streams: Science, Arts and Commerce. The BBA course offers knowledge and training in management and leadership skills to prepare them for managerial roles and entrepreneurship. During the tenure of the course, candidates learn various aspects of business administration and management through class room lectures and practical projects like internship.

The department organizes various seminars, workshops and technical sessions which enable the students to equip themselves with the latest trends in the business world. The department organizes inter collegiate and inter departmental programs which help the students to gain knowledge and to develop the spirit of involvement and participation.

The department faculties engage in giving tutorial coaching for BSc. Hotel Management and MBA distance education students of the Bharathiar University. The department has a very good and qualified team of teaching faculty with knowledge, skill and industry experience. Many students opt each year for MBA in esteemed Universities and colleges in and outside India.
